The course highlights the purpose
of the Constitution, the structure of America's government and
economic system, the role of American diplomacy, expressions of
patriotism, and provides an introduction to American parties and
politics. Perfect as a half-credit, stand-alone civics course,
iCitizen is also excellent preparation for accelerated middle
school students and for freshmen or sophomores planning to take an
advanced American government course (such as AP U.S. Government and
Politics) during their junior or senior year. See the syllabus

Online or Print?
While there is not a print edition at this time, the entire
text of iCitizen, the syllabus, and the glossary can be printed as
PDFs (about 300 single-side pages) should your student prefer to
read iCitizen on paper. The quizzes and final exam are the only
component that is "online only."

3/31/2015 – Has the text been updated since 2013? I used it for 2013-24 school year and my students had noticed some mistakes.
3/18/2015 – Can the iCitizen Civic Literacy course be used to fulfill my state's 1/2 credit American Government requirement?
