6/14/2013 – Can we use this curriculum for Junior High students age 12-14?
Response From The HSLDA Store: It will likely depend on the student’s mental and academic maturity and if they have the necessary pre-requisites for the course. If the student is participating in debate or planning to, it could be helpful even if not all the principles are grasped. They can always be revisited at a later time.
4/24/2013 – Would this curriculum satisfy a "debate" credit for high school?
Response From The HSLDA Store: This DVD series is a 4.5 hour lecture series designed to accompany the textbook listed here:http://store.hslda.org/an-introduction-to-policy-debate-p105c4.aspx?Thread=True Using the DVD series as well as working through the textbook can be considered a course. Most likely though, the student should also be able to apply what they learn through actual debate opportunities
