Little did the Framers of the United States Constitution know that

Rocks is for a new generation, a reminder of what it means to have
a voice and live free. So come along and discover America's
Constitution. Learn how those guys in wigs came up with some of the
best ideas ever. It still matters to kids today. Find out why.
Author:
Fourteen-year-old Juliette Turner is the National Youth Director
for Constituting America, author, activist, and student. When she
isn't in school, writing, or speaking at political conventions, she
can be found at home on her Texas ranch, caring for their eight

HSLDA Staff Thoughts:
"I very much enjoyed this introduction to the U.S.
Constitution. Juliette Turner does a terrific job of going through
our founding document, taking each section and showing what it
means, why it's in there, and how it's been used through the years.
Her focus is on why the Constitution is important for teens today,
and she succeeded in keeping my interest throughout. Each Article
and Amendment is clearly explained, including controversies over
what they mean, and lots of interesting facts and tidbits of trivia
are thrown in. This book is an excellent introduction to our
Constitution, and I would recommend it highly."-- Darren
